2012 Price List

Payment in full is due at time of pick-up in cash. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to order.
As with anything that is dependent upon the whims of nature we can never "count our chickens before they hatch," as weather often plays a role in our business. We will always do our best to fill your order promptly, but often things beyond our control prevent us from doing so. We are not a hatchery and therefore we may not be able to provide you with large numbers of birds in single varieties. In order to avoid disappointment please order early and get on the hatching list.
All day old chicks are sold as "straight run, we cannot sex them with any degree of accuracy so it would not be fair to you for us to try. We are also not reserving or taking orders for adult chickens this year, as we find it difficult to house and feed large numbers of young birds until they reach an age where they can be sexed. If any remain from excess eggs or surplus hatches they would be available starting in July, up until our final cull for winter in October. Due to the cost of feed we plan to house as few extras as possible so please don't count on availability of adults later in the summer. We will advertise these if/when they become available.
We will take orders for adult ducks, geese and pheasants.

Policies
* Pairs consist of one male and one female.
**Trios consist of one male and two females.
***Straight Run birds are not sexed.
All birds are priced above as day olds for each extra week of age 50 cents is added to the price to cover increased costs of feeding growing birds.
x indicates that the bird is unavailable due to numbers or that we do not sell it as a chick.
"Not Available" - Indicates that we are just beginning with this breed ourselves and will not have chicks for sale until next spring. We will have a few adult birds to sell in the fall.
**** Call ducks and East Indies are special orders. We hatch far less of them than the chickens and cannot sex them until they are at least 12 weeks old and begin to colour out or develop sex feathers. For this reason it is impossible for us to sell you a pair of sexed call ducklings. Prices vary on them especially between "show quality" and "pet quality" birds. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us to answer any questions you might have.
